In this course, you'll learn to recognize what to expect from a mentoring relationship and identify key characteristics of a mentor. You'll also learn ways of facilitating a productive mentor-mentee relationship and best practices for successful mentoring relationships.

Women face unique challenges in the workplace, including the difficulty in balancing work and family. Their experience in running both a family and a career also provides them with unique value and perspective. In this course, you'll learn how to conquer some of the challenges of career and family, including building a support system, overcoming the perfection mindset, and reframing your limiting beliefs.

All leaders need to possess certain competencies that help them to be good leaders. Women leaders still face challenges in the workplace, when it comes to being viewed as equally competent to men. By developing particular key leadership competencies, women leaders can better overcome some of these obstacles. In this course, you'll learn how building confidence, demonstrating competence, and developing better leadership presence can improve leadership standing. And you'll learn how communicating like a leader and demonstrating emotional intelligence can help as well. You'll also learn about the value of networking, and, in particular, the value of women in leadership positions connecting with other women leaders.
