In this course, discover how to design, configure, and administer multifactor authentication (MFA), in preparation for the MS-100 Microsoft Identity and Services certification exam. Begin this 13-video course by examining MFA considerations when deploying an identity solution and how to enable MFA with default conditional access policies. Next, you will look at the state of MFA for any given user (disabled, enabled, enforced). Then, discover how to navigate to and configure the three user settings (require selected users to provide contact methods; delete all existing app passwords; and restore MFA). This leads into MFA customization, configuring lockouts, blocking, notifications, and call settings for MFA. Learn how to access sign-in reports and describe sign-in report structure; create a custom conditional access policy for MFA; and navigate to and configure MFA service settings such as verification options and remember MFA for devices and browsing. Next, take an overview of the concept of modern authentication, and the state of modern authentication for Office 365 services. Finally, look at sign-in behavior of Office client apps.
