In this 15-video course, learners can review key concepts and technologies including account management, Active Directory (AD), and basics of device management. You will begin by learning how to create local or Active Directory user accounts; logical concepts of AD, creating forests, domains and OUs (organizational units); and navigating AD infrastructure. Next, review physical concepts, deploying domain controllers, configuring sites, and describing NTDS.dit file. This is followed by learning how to manage AD and perform common AD administrative functions. You will learn about writing distinguished names, enabling schema management, and managing DNS (domain name system) dependency. Next, navigate Azure AD, learn about Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and learn how to create and configure new GPOs. Explore essentials of device management by configuring mobile device management policies and enumerating potential challenges. Perform static and automated IP Address configuration, and navigate the deployment landscape. The concluding exercise involves editing the domain partition of the AD DB, creating an OU, and creating and configuring a user object. This is one course in a series to help learners prepare for the MD-100: Windows 10 certification exam.
