With a curriculum tailored to cover advanced financial concepts, practical tools, and modern technology, this course bridges the gap between foundational accounting knowledge and professional application.

Objective:

This program empowers participants with the ability to manage complex accounting tasks while leveraging accounting software to enhance efficiency. Through in-depth exploration of accounts management, financial reporting, payroll, taxation, and end-of-year processes, participants gain the skills needed to excel in the modern accounting landscape.

What You'll Gain:

The course provides both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience, ensuring participants leave with practical skills ready for immediate application in the workplace. The inclusion of accounting software ensures learners are prepared for the technology-driven demands of today’s accounting roles.

Each week builds on a hands-on approach, with practical tasks that mirror professional accounting responsibilities. Whether journalizing entries or preparing federal tax forms, learners gain confidence in tackling industry-standard scenarios.

Program Structure

Week 1–5: Accounts Management and Adjustments

Learners start by mastering the essentials of accounts payable, receivable, notes payable, and notes receivable. Emphasis is placed on accurately tracking and reconciling these accounts, handling uncollectible debts, and calculating interest and depreciation.

Week 6–8: Accruals, Dividends, and Year-End Adjustments

Building on foundational knowledge, participants will handle accruals, dividends, and retained earnings while completing year-end worksheets. These lessons ensure learners can adjust ledger accounts and maintain up-to-date records for fiscal compliance.

Week 9–10: Financial Reporting and Final Adjustments

As the fiscal period concludes, learners will prepare detailed financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. They will journalize closing entries and create a post-closing trial balance for seamless transitions to the next period.

Week 11–12: Payroll, Taxation, and Software Applications

The program concludes with payroll management and tax preparation, covering mandatory deductions, recordkeeping, and filing federal tax forms. Learners will also integrate their knowledge with accounting software to automate processes and ensure compliance in real-world scenarios.

This course is tailored for individuals ready to take on more responsibility in their accounting careers. Whether transitioning into roles such as accounting technician, payroll administrator, or tax assistant, or preparing for further certifications, this program equips participants with the skills, tools, and confidence to succeed.
