Michael Myles

Managing Director / Founder

Michael is a highly esteemed figure in the field of social development, currently spearheading the innovative efforts of ICT Ltd. as its Managing Director. Known for his visionary leadership, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge across a broad spectrum of areas, including human resources, public management, personal finance, and social development. This diverse skill set not only underscores his multifaceted expertise but also cements his reputation as a leading figure in his industry. His approach to tackling complex challenges and his dedication to fostering employability skills are particularly noteworthy, distinguishing him as a driving force behind the pioneering strategies of ICT Ltd.

Michael's academic background is as diverse as his professional pursuits. He holds a bachelor’s degree in human services, is a Certified Human Resources Professional, accreditation from the International Public Management Association for Human Resources. His qualifications as a Personal Financial Coach add another layer to his comprehensive understanding of both personal and organizational development.

At the helm of ICT Ltd., Michael is not only the Founder but also the Managing Director, where he plays an instrumental role in overseeing the company’s operations and setting its strategic direction. His work with  programme development, especially his interactions with the Cayman Islands Government, highlights his adeptness in managing large-scale projects and fostering governmental relationships. 

His commitment to social development is deep-rooted, spanning over 35 years across the Cayman Islands and the United States. Michael's career trajectory includes influential roles such as Manager at Bonaventure Home, Dean of Students/ School Operations/ Development Manager at Hope Academy, and At-Risk Youth Liaison Officer at the Ministry of Education.

In addition to his managerial and administrative roles, Michael is also a seasoned instructor. He teaches 'Tools for Success-Employability Skills' and 'Financial Peace University-Personal Financial Management', where he shares his extensive knowledge in career coaching and personal finance. His key responsibilities at ICT Ltd. are multifaceted, encompassing leadership, programme management, soft skills training, overseeing apprenticeship placements, and providing vocational assessments.

Michael’s profound dedication to the community, particularly in supporting at-risk youth and their families, stands as a testament to his compassionate and impactful career. His contributions have not only uplifted individuals in various communities but have also addressed some of the most pressing social challenges, thereby fostering significant positive change in youth development and community welfare. 

Sean Glidden

Chief Operating Officer

Sean serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Inspire Cayman Training, where he orchestrates daily operations and spearheads the Heavy Equipment Simulator Training Programme. With a solid educational background in Accounting and Business Administration, Sean brings over 30 years of senior management and accounting expertise to his role. Alongside overseeing Internal Quality Assurance for the Heavy Equipment Simulator Program, he manages various other facets of Inspire Cayman Training, including social assistance initiatives, trainee mentoring, and employment placements.

Sean's diverse background also includes Heavy Equipment Operator, obtaining a Plumbing License, and managing a plumbing company in the United States. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Sean is primed to lead, driving innovative solutions and fostering excellence within the organization.

Kat Hampson

Careers & Employment Development Instructor

Kat began her career with the Southend-on-Sea Youth Offending Service in the United Kingdom, focusing on rehabilitation. While involved in various projects, one particularly close to her heart was assisting 14 to 18-year-olds who had left school without qualifications, helping them upskill for a brighter future. It was here that her passion for helping people took root, setting the stage for a career dedicated to empowering individuals through vocational training and career guidance.

Joining Inspire Cayman Training in 2022, Kat serves as the lead instructor for the Ready2Work programme. With her BA (Hons) in Criminology and Social Policy and over 15 years of experience, she specializes in supporting those facing long-term unemployment or underemployment. Committed to breaking down social barriers, she has empowered hundreds of clients to pursue rewarding career paths. Her firm but fair approach, combined with her commitment to holding every participant to their highest standards, significantly contributes to the success of the Ready2Work programme.

Since relocating to Grand Cayman in 2014, Kat has fully embraced Caribbean culture and considers the island her home. Alongside her professional commitments, she is a qualified swim instructor. When she's not leading the Ready2Work programme or in the office, you'll often find her enjoying the pristine shores of Cayman, floating in its crystal-clear waters.

Allison Hidalgo

Talent Development & Recruitment Manager

Allison, formerly in the tourism industry, pivoted to human resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. She embraced a new career path after completing our Tools to Success program in 2021, leading her to a role at a leading recruitment agency. Now, as the Talent Development & Recruitment Manager at Inspire Cayman Training since early 2024, Allison guides trainees throughout various stages of their careers, drawing on her personal experience and HR expertise.

Her achievements include a successful career transition, invaluable industry experience, a CISHRP certification, and a growing network of HR professionals on-island, enhancing her career development advocacy. Allison's motivation is rooted in her own career shift and her commitment to supporting others in their professional growth.

Outside work, Allison is keen on personal development, mental health advocacy, and staying updated with industry trends. She also harbours aspirations to venture into social work or therapy, underlining her dedication to positive transformations and early childhood development.

Dave Sutherland

TVET Instructor

Dave's professional journey in Technical Vocation Education and Training (TVET) has led him to specialize in fields like Motor Vehicle Repairs, Electrical Technology, and Heavy Equipment Operation. Currently, on our team, he is responsible for training students in Heavy Equipment Operation, emphasizing professional development and coaching. With over eight years of experience as a TVET Instructor, Dave has focused on mentoring vulnerable and at-risk youth, aiming to transform their lives positively. His approach goes beyond technical training; it's about inspiring change and guiding young people towards productive futures.

His achievements include his progression, beginning as an apprentice and evolving into an Automotive Technician and career coach, which highlights his dedication to growth and teaching.

Driven by the challenges young people face, especially those at risk of crime and violence, Dave is committed to making a significant impact through his teaching and mentorship. Outside of work, he enjoys motorsport, engineering, fishing, and free diving, reflecting his diverse interests and energetic personality.
